County Cub Scout Competition

The Annual County Competition for Cub Scouts from across Devon was held at the Torbay Camp Site at Watcombe.

Teams of Cubs Scouts from across Devon competed in a day of activities, varying from Puzzles, Knotting, Aerodynamics, Senses, Numerical challenges, Blindfolded Golf, Geography, Balancing, Problem solving, Pioneering, Caving and launching of rockets, which tested their skills and stamina.

After a very close competition the team representing West Devon from Horrabridge Sea Scouts emerged winners, closely followed by a joint 2^nd place for Plymouth District, represented by 1^st Keyham and Torbay District, by 14^th Torbay.

The team from 1st Horrabridge…Joe Jordan, William Dax, Joshua Blake, Ross Cooper and Scott Morris are seen receiving the County Trophy.
