Scout Community Week has inspired thousands of Groups from all over the UK to 'do1thing' for their community.

Scouts take Parliament
Beavers and Cubs took Scout Community Week to Westminster yesterday (15 May).

What is it all about?


The Essex International Jamboree 2012 is a fun packed week of adventure where every

day you'll do something new and exciting. From adventurous activities, fun arts and

crafts,learning and development games and projects as well as events that run into the

night.

Every morning you'll wake up surrounded by thousands ofpeople from around the world.

You'll discover new cultures, learna little of their language and meet a fellow Scout or

Guide from another country, and all before breakfast.

Sub Camps:

The whole jmaboree is split up into sub camps - smaller camps and then we are camping as our self contained unit within a sub camp. The sub camps at EIJ 2012 will be:

  • Pyramids
  • Everest
  • Red Square
  • Great Wall of China
  • Sydney
  • Turtle Island
  • Honolulu
  • Easter Island
  • Nassau
  • Amazon
