World Scout Moot

The World Scout Moot is an event for members aged between 18 and 25. It is hosted by a different nation every four years and there are around 5000 participants from all around the world. As well as a Jamboree like camp you are also split into international patrols and the programme takes you around the host country enabling you to engage with the culture and develop close links with scouts from around the world, before returning to the main Moot site.

The Next world Scout Moot will take place in Portugal in 2025, keep your eyes out for more information.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
