International opportunities

If you’re thinking about leading an international trip here area some options that may help provide some inspiration.

Kandersteg International Scout Centre: BP’s permanent Jamboree in the mountains providing activities throughout the year.

Roverway: A European Jamboree for Explorers to attend as part of the UK contingent.(Keep an eye out for more information coming soon!)

The Danish National Jamboree: One of the largest Jamborees in Europe.

Haarlem Jamborette: A smaller Jamboree in the Netherlands.

US National Jamboree: A very large Jamboree in the US taking place at their purpose built site in West Virginia.

Other international options can be found online, other possibilities include: Australian National Jamboree, New Zealand National Jamboree, Swiss National Jamboree and Asia Pacific Scout Jamboree.

In the UK there is also a series of larger international Jamborees that happen every few years, these include the following but there are many more:

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
