Who is this for?
This workshop will provide lead volunteers with the skills, tools & networking opportunities to manage and support their teams within Scouting. Devon has decided to adopt this user-friendly approach to make learning more relevant to the roles volunteers actually have.
What we cover on the workshop.
Criteria
- The causes of conflict and define appropriate strategies to resolve it.
- Practically apply The Scout Association’s dispute, suspension and complaints procedures in an effective manner to real situations.
- Apply The Scout Association’s safeguarding procedures to real situations.
- Understand how to carry out challenging reviews.
- Be able to prioritise the different challenges faced for your role
About the course.
This F2F workshop will be run at Teignbridge District HQ, Newton Abbot. (See map at the bottom of the page).
This is only one-day and sessions start at 10.00 and will consist of interactive whole group learning sessions, small group work & individual reflection.
Refreshments will be provided, please bring your own lunch!
